Some of y’all walk through Uptown every day and still don’t know we’re up here.
I’m Mike, the owner of Nevacared Apparel. Our store is upstairs in Uptown Normal, near Illinois State University. If you haven’t stopped in yet, here’s a little about what we’re building.
Nevacared comes from a mindset: you can care about your goals, your people, and where your life is going without letting everybody else’s opinion decide how you live.
That matters when you’re figuring things out. What you want to study. What you want to do after school. Who you want around you. There’s always somebody with an opinion, even when they’re not the one doing the work.
You’re allowed to find your own way.
Getting to Know the ISU Community
One of the things I enjoy about having a store here is meeting people. You come in looking for a hoodie or a pair of shorts, and we end up talking about school, training, or something you’re working toward.
We’ve also been connecting with ISU athletes and getting Nevacared in front of more people around campus. I want those connections to keep growing. Come through, introduce yourself, and let us know what you’ve got going on.

We carry men’s and women’s apparel, from gym pieces to tees, hoodies, and everyday wear. You can try things on, check the fit, and ask me about the pieces.
Every person who stops in helps this brand grow. Every time somebody wears Nevacared around campus or tells a friend where they got it, more people find out we’re here.
