Authentic Over Everything: You Don’t Need Everyone’s Approval

Everybody has an opinion about how you should live.

What you wear. What you post. What you’re working toward. Even what you should want for yourself.

Listen long enough, and you can find yourself making decisions based on everybody except you.

Authentic Over Everything is about keeping your own voice.

It applies when you wear something you like without wondering who’s going to judge it. When you start something you’ve been putting off because you’re worried about what people will say. When you stop pretending to agree just to fit in.

Sometimes it’s admitting you’re still figuring things out. Sometimes it’s changing direction because what used to fit your life doesn’t fit anymore.

Being authentic doesn’t mean you have everything figured out. You can take advice, learn, and grow while still making decisions you believe in. You don’t have to stay the same person forever to be true to yourself.

Ask yourself: how much of what you do is because you want to—and how much is because you’re trying to keep somebody else comfortable?

That’s where AOE applies.

You don’t need everybody to understand your style, your goals, or your next move. You need to be able to stand behind them yourself.

Authentic Over Everything has been part of the Nevacared mindset. Now it’s the focus of our next drop.

We’ll be sharing a closer look soon. Until then, think about where you’ve been holding back just to avoid somebody’s opinion.

What would you do differently if you stopped waiting for approval?
